Don’t know what to wear? Reach for a crisp, white button down shirt. It never goes out of style. It’s easily dressed up or down. You’ll always look good. Below are some tips for wearing the classic white dress shirt.
For the weekend.
Roll the sleeves and pair it with shorts and Jack Purcell sneakers.
For the work week.
Make sure your shirt is pressed. Throw on a tie and jacket.
Not too big.
Think getting an oversized shirt will hide your beer gut? Nope. A slimmer cut will give you a slimmer silhouette. Furthermore, oversized shirts look just plain sloppy—even if you have six-pack abs.
Keep it clean.
Only wash with other whites. Mind ring-around-the-collar with OxiClean. Laundry-challenged? Send your shirts to the cleaners.
